Fatabyyano commits to following 10 rules related to its transparency policy

Fatabyyano commits to always show all evidence found by the team when refuting or proving a claim in our review articles
opinions of the review article editors can’t be used as an only source for proving or refuting a certain claim
Fatabyyano take full responsibility for every review article published on its official website
the sender of certain evidence to Fatabyyano can ask to show or hide his name and Fatabyyano can accept or refuse to use this evidence under these conditions without violating our methodology for example if the identity of the sender is considered part from the evidence Fatabyyano can’t accept the request of hiding the name till the last update for our methodology in January 2020, Fatabyyano doesn’t fact-check claims related to political opinions, official elections and others related to politicians announcement which is considered in most of it an opinion
Fatabyyano commits that all of its editorial staff doesn’t belong to any political party and didn’t run for a political role in their countries as a part of Fatabyyano’s commitment to always stand as an independent organization without any political bias
if a publisher of a certain claim removed it from his account, page or channel, Fatabyyano can remove his name from the review article or put a notice of his update when notified as our goal is to fight false information and stop its spread not certain individuals or entities
Team members can participate occasionally in media but they are requested to avoid taking sides or biasing towards or against any side in conversations

On 10 Feb 2020, and as a Part of Fatabyyano Expansion Plan we become a Limited Liability Company, Pursuant to the documents kept with the Companies Control Department at the Ministry of Industry & Trade at The Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. Fatabyyano Company 257801/22222 is incorporated as a Limited Liability Company under N 56602 with Entity National Number 200176261, And Moath Nabeel Hashem Althaher shall be authorized to sign on behalf of the Company in All Financial, administrative, Judicial, Legal and in other matters

Fatabyyano uses the following criteria to accept or reject any funds, partnerships and/or sponsorships

.firstly, the sponsor, partner, funder can be a national or international institution, organization, Private or public Company, NGO, NPO, or and individual

.Secondly, the sponsor, partner, funder doesn’t have any religious or political affiliation

Thirdly, the sponsor, partner, funder doesn’t have any restrictions or conditions on the content Development or edition, and the content editing and Fact-checking should be completely independent by Fatabyyano

.Fourthly, the sponsor, partner, funder doesn’t have the intention to buy the content exclusively and all the content must be posted from Fatabyyano platform and has Fatabyyano logo

Fatabyyano is not controlled by any political parties either in Jordan or Outside Jordan. as well as Fatabyyano have no commercial, financial or institutional relationship to any , politicians or Political Actors or Political parties either inside Jordan or outside Jordan, Fatabyyano had Transparent Funding Policy, .

– Then take a screenshot of the claim from the most popular or the most engaging post that shared the claim, then we cite this page name and description when the claim was published and How much engagement it got until the moment of writing the claim and we write this date. then we describe the engagement or how much spread mainly by saying how many shares it got and how many views if it was a video this single claim post got

Then, we search social media platforms for similar claim posts or by using tools like CrowdTangle or by using Google or Yandex Search Engines and cite those in our Fact-checking article for better clarify how widely spread this claim, ( to cover most of claim links on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Youtube..etc ) and also it helps in rating the claims for Facebook recently

Currently, In most of our Fact-checking articles, we using different archiving websites like Perma.cc or https://archive.fo/ to archive the main source of the claim, as may the claim publisher will remove the claim whatever it was a ( post, video, photo..etc ) we keep a copy of it to keep a copy of the video or the post to ensure that anyone read our review article can review the original content of the main claim, in addition to that we also archive the main evidence in most of our Fact-checking articles, especially if we suspect it may be deleted at any time

we use Google search to find sources related to the post we are investigating by trying different keywords that we think will lead us to more information about the post we investigate. we tend to use every possible clue in the post we investigate and use it in our search to make sure we reach the sources that are related to the post. we also use what we find from our search to further improve the keywords when looking for more sources and information.

– The period between 1 Mar 2019 and 1 Mar 2020, it was one of the Most Difficult Times for Fatabyyano Since it lunched. As we apply for a multiple of grants and investment opportunities either in Jordan or outside Jordan with No Luck!
– Fatabyyano was mainly funded by her Founder and CEO, Dr.Moath, it’s in the same period when Dr.Althaher left practicing Medicine to keep Fatabyyano stand up.

Artist in Residence It is a program designed to empower artists and content creators to develop their ideas and concepts and turn them into actual artworks. – On 30 April 2020, The International Fact-Checking Network (IFCN) and Facebook Announced the Final batch of CoronaVirus Fact-checking Grants and Fatabyyano received Funding for their Project: F-19 Vs. COVID – 19.
This project aims to fight misinformation in 19 Arab countries by delivering 19 packages composed of animated videos, fact-checked articles, and infographics. The team will use sign language in its visual production to reach a wider audience.

The training addresses the different types of medical studies, the most common mistakes journalists make when dealing with medical articles, and reasons why people believe health misinformation. By the end of this program, the mentor and mentees will work as a group to create well-structured, informative and authentic protocols and guidelines that support the fact-checkers who deal with health-related misinformation around the world. Best practices will be published and translated into six languages. )

On July 2023 Fatabyyano Fatabyyano receive funds from the ICFJ, A workshop in partnership with ICFJ was conducted in Kenya in person for 5 trainers from MENA region, The goal of the project was to return to their countries and train 60 more people on media literacy and fact-checking, the project was part of a three-year global project run by ICFJ with lead funding from the Scripps Howard Fund.

On March 2024. The IFCN conducted three rounds of grant-giving in the first year of the fund: BUILD, GROW and ENGAGE. funded by Google/YouTube, Fatabyyano has been granted for BUILD award on the Project: Strengthening Fact-Checking in the MENA Region: Scaling Up and Upgrading Online Presence. Fatabyyano will use the funding to enhance website development through a detailed review, hiring a skilled web developer, conducting user testing, and upgrading analytics for a user-friendly website. It will also upgrade infrastructure, content management systems, and publishing tools, implement comprehensive security audits, and invest in staff development.

IFCN awards BUILD capacity grants from Global Fact Check Fund: Meet the winners

On March 2024 we contracted with TikTok. As a fact-checking partner with TikTok, Fatabyyano receives funds to cover fact-checking in the Middle East region, assessing content accuracy to enable moderators to apply Community Guidelines. سياسة الشفافية

تعمل منصة فتبينوا تحت 10 قواعد تحدد سياسة شفافيّة المنصة في العمل وتلتزم بها:

تلتزم فتبينوا بإظهار جميع الأدلة عند نفي الادّعاءات أو اثباتها ولا يحق لها إخفاء هذه الأدلة.
لا تعتبر آراء المحررين دليلاً يمكن الاعتماد عليه ولا تبنى التحقيقات على وجهات نظر العاملين في المنصة
” هذا المقال يعبّر عن رأي الكاتب ولا يعبّر عن اتجاه المنصة بالضرورة ” : هذه العبارة لا تنطبق على التحقيقات التي تنتجها منصة فتبينوا ولا بأي شكل من الأشكال وعليه تتحمل منصة فتبينوا المسؤولية الكاملة لوجود أي خطأ في أي تحقيق صحفي.
المواد التي ترسل لمنصة فتبينوا يحق لمرسلها أن يطلب اظهار اسمه او لا ، ويحق للمنصة الموافقة أو الرفض بما لا يخالف قواعد العمل. فعلى سبيل المثال: ان كان اسم مرسل الدليل جزء لا يتجزّأ من الدليل تلتزم منصة فتبينوا بإظهار اسم صاحب الدليل بعد أخذ موافقته.
فيما يتعلق بالجانب السياسي: ليس من التصنيفات التي تعمل فيها منصة فتبينوا وذلك حتى آخر تحديث لقواعد العمل ” 1 يوليو 2020 ” الآراء السياسية والبرامج الانتخابية والوعود النيابية وغيرها أو فيما يتعلق بتصريحات السياسيين التي تحمل الكثير من الآراء الشخصية.
تلتزم منصة فتبينوا بأن يكون جميع العاملين في المنصة سواء ادرايين أو صحفيين لا ينتمون لأي حزب سياسي ولم يترشحوا لمنصب سياسي تلتزم منصة فتبينوا بأن تبقى منصة مستقلة بدون توجه سياسي معين في مقالاتها وتحقيقاتها.
إن قام ناشر ادّعاء ما ، بحذف الادّعاء ، تلتزم منصة فتبينوا ودّياً – ولها الحق الكامل في القرار – بحذف اسم ناشر الادّعاء من على موقع فتبينوا مع الإبقاء على نص الادّعاء كما هو. للتأكيد على ان الهدف هو الأفكار وليس الأشخاص وبهدف تشجيع مستخدمي الانترنت على نبذ الأخبار الكاذبة.
يمكن لأعضاء المنصة المشاركة من حين لآخر في وسائل الإعلام ولكن يطلب منهم تجنب التحيز تجاه أو ضد أي جانب في المحادثات ، تلتزم منصة فتبينوا بالامتناع عن استخدام منصة فتبينوا للدعوة أو الترويج للسياسيين أو الأحزاب السياسية.
تلتزم منصة فتبينوا بتعديل أي خطأ تقوم به أو تنشره على موقعها أو على حساباتها الرسمية إن وجدت الدليل الذي يثبت وقوعها في خطأ ما.
تلتزم منصة فتبينوا أن تقدم خدمات التحقق من الأخبار والمعلومات للجمهور العربي بكل أصنافه وأطيافه وجنسياتهم.

الملكية والتسجيل القانوني

فتبينوا هي مؤسسة مستقلة مسجلة قانونيًا تم إنشاؤها لغرض التحقق من المعلومات. تم تسجيلها بتاريخ 22 فبراير 2016. وفقًا لمبدأ الشفافية في ويكيبيديا، تُعرّف فتبينوا كمنصة متخصصة حصريًا في التحقق من الأخبار المفبركة والشائعات والعلوم الزائفة.

في 10 فبراير 2020، وكجزء من خطة توسع فتبينوا، أصبحت شركة ذات مسؤولية محدودة، وفقًا للوثائق المحفوظة لدى دائرة مراقبة الشركات في وزارة الصناعة والتجارة في المملكة الأردنية الهاشمية. تم تسجيل شركة فتبينوا تحت الرقم 257801/22222 كشركة ذات مسؤولية محدودة بموجب رقم 56602، وبرقم وطني مؤسسي 200176261. ويُخوّل معاذ نبيل هاشم الظاهر بالتوقيع نيابة عن الشركة في جميع الأمور المالية والإدارية والقضائية والقانونية وغيرها.

الاستقلالية

للحفاظ على مستوى عالٍ من الوضوح والموضوعية لمنصة فتبينوا، لا يُسمح لأعضاء فريقنا التحريري بالتبرع للحملات السياسية أو المشاركة في الأنشطة السياسية لأي حزب. يمكن لأعضاء الفريق المشاركة أحيانًا في وسائل الإعلام، لكن يُطلب منهم تجنب الانحياز أو التحيز لصالح أو ضد أي طرف في المحادثات.

تمتلك فتبينوا مدونة واضحة للشفافية وافق عليها جميع الأعضاء، تقتضي الإعلان عن أي صلات سياسية إن وُجدت، والامتناع عن استخدام منصة فتبينوا للترويج أو الدعوة لأي سياسيين أفراد أو أحزاب سياسية.

لا تخضع فتبينوا لأي سيطرة من الأحزاب السياسية داخل الأردن أو خارجه. كما أن فتبينوا لا تربطها أي علاقة تجارية أو مالية أو مؤسسية مع أي سياسيين أو شخصيات أو أحزاب سياسية سواء داخل الأردن أو خارجه. تتمتع فتبينوا بسياسة تمويل شفافة.

الالتزام بالمعايير وشفافية المصادر

تتبع فتبينوا سياسة الشفافية في التحقق من الحقائق عند الرد على كل ادعاء. نقسم مقال التحقق التوضيحي إلى جزأين رئيسيين:

أولًا: جزء الادعاء

يتضمن النص الكامل للادعاء بدون تعديل منا أو ملخصًا للادعاء إذا كان الادعاء عبارة عن فيديو طويل. مثال على ملخص: هنا وهنا

ثم نلتقط لقطة شاشة للادعاء من المنشور الأكثر شهرة أو الأكثر تفاعلًا الذي شارك الادعاء، ثم نستشهد باسم الصفحة ووصفها وتاريخ نشر الادعاء، بالإضافة إلى مقدار التفاعل الذي حصل عليه حتى لحظة كتابة الادعاء، ونقوم بكتابة هذا التاريخ. بعد ذلك، نصف التفاعل أو مدى الانتشار بشكل أساسي من خلال ذكر عدد المشاركات التي حصل عليها، وعدد المشاهدات إذا كان الادعاء في شكل فيديو.

بعد ذلك، نبحث في منصات التواصل الاجتماعي عن منشورات مشابهة للادعاء باستخدام أدوات مثل CrowdTangle أو محركات البحث مثل جوجل أو ياندكس، ونستشهد بهذه المنشورات في مقالة التحقق من الادعاء لتوضيح مدى انتشار هذا الادعاء (لتغطية معظم روابط الادعاء على فيسبوك، إنستغرام، تويتر، يوتيوب…إلخ). كما يساعد ذلك أيضًا في تصنيف الادعاءات على فيسبوك مؤخرًا.

في معظم مقالات التحقق من الحقائق لدينا، نستخدم مواقع أرشفة مختلفة مثل Perma.cc أو https://archive.fo/ لأرشفة المصدر الرئيسي للادعاء. وذلك لأن ناشر الادعاء قد يقوم بإزالة الادعاء سواء كان (منشورًا، فيديو، صورة… إلخ). نحتفظ بنسخة منه لضمان أن أي شخص يقرأ مقالة المراجعة الخاصة بنا يمكنه مراجعة المحتوى الأصلي للادعاء الرئيسي. بالإضافة إلى ذلك، نقوم أيضًا بأرشفة الأدلة الرئيسية في معظم مقالات التحقق من الحقائق، خاصة إذا كنا نشك في احتمال حذفها في أي وقت.

ثانيًا: جزء التقييم

نقوم بوصف الأدلة التي وجدناها وكيف توصلنا إلى تقييم هذا الادعاء. نتبع منهجيتنا وسياسة الشفافية لضمان أن أي شخص يمكنه العثور على المصادر التي استخدمناها وتكرار عمليتنا للتحقق من صحتها.

نستخدم أدوات البحث من جوجل كأداتنا الرئيسية للتحقق من الحقائق. كما نستخدم البحث العكسي عن الصور من جوجل للعثور على مصدر الصور بشكل أساسي، بالإضافة إلى مقاطع الفيديو التي قد نصادفها.

نستخدم محرك البحث جوجل للعثور على مصادر متعلقة بالمنشور الذي نقوم بالتحقق منه، من خلال تجربة كلمات مفتاحية مختلفة نعتقد أنها ستقودنا إلى مزيد من المعلومات حول المنشور. نسعى لاستخدام كل دليل ممكن موجود في المنشور الذي نتحقق منه في عملية البحث لضمان الوصول إلى المصادر المرتبطة بالمنشور. كما أننا نستخدم ما نجده من نتائج البحث لتحسين الكلمات المفتاحية بشكل أكبر عند البحث عن المزيد من المصادر والمعلومات.

إذا كان المنشور منسوبًا إلى شخص أو مؤسسة، نتأكد من محاولة التواصل مباشرة مع الشخص أو المؤسسة للتحقق مما إذا كانوا قد قالوا ذلك بالفعل أم لا، وما إذا كان لديهم أي تعليق على المنشور الذي نقوم بالتحقق منه. نتأكد من نشر ما يقولونه في منشورنا وعلى المقالة الخاصة بالمنشور على موقعنا.

تواصل فريق فتبينوا مع طبيب تونسي، بعد ادعاء أنه صرح بأن جائحة كورونا ستنتهي في تونس في فبراير 2021. وبعد التواصل معه، تبين أن الادعاء كان خاطئًا وأنه لم يصرح بذلك. هنــا

تواصل فريق فتبينوا مع صاحب مطعم (DITS) للحصول على بيان رسمي، بعد انتشار فيديو مُعدَّل يظهر فيه أشخاص يسقطون ويموتون داخل مطعمه. هنــا

في ادعاءات أخرى، نستخدم العديد من الأدوات المتاحة لدينا لدحض الفيديوهات المنتشرة، على سبيل المثال.

في هذا المقال، استخدمنا صور الأقمار الصناعية للكشف عن حريق في وقت محدد في المملكة العربية السعودية لتأكيد الأدلة.

استخدام تحليل مستوى الخطأ “ELA” لفحص ما إذا كانت الصورة قد تم التلاعب بها.

استخدام خرائط جوجل (عرض الشارع) لتأكيد موقع ومقارنته بالادعاء.

استخدام جوجل إيرث (الصور التاريخية) لتأكيد موقع ومقارنة صورة حديثة مع صورة قديمة.

استخدام خاصية (Inspect Element) في متصفح جوجل كروم لقراءة بيانات صفحة الويب للحصول على أدلة.

استخدام موقع لترجمة الصور للكشف عن اللغة وترجمتها إلى الإنجليزية، بالإضافة إلى استخدام الأرشيف لاستخراج البيانات القديمة أو المحذوفة من المواقع.

شفافية التمويل

فتبينوا هي مؤسسة مستقلة مسجلة قانونياً تم إنشاؤها لغرض التحقق من الحقائق. تم تسجيلها في 22 فبراير 2016.

تستخدم فتبينوا المعايير التالية لقبول أو رفض أي تمويل أو شراكات أو رعايات:

يمكن للراعي أو الشريك أو الممول أن يكون أي مؤسسة أو منظمة أو شركة أو منظمة غير حكومية أو منظمة غير ربحية أو فرد، سواء على المستوى الوطني أو الدولي. ومع ذلك، يجب أن يلتزم جميعهم بالممارسات الأخلاقية، وأن يتماشى مع قيم ومهمة فتبينوا، وأن يحافظ على الشفافية بشأن نواياه، وتقديم اتصال واضح وصادق بخصوص توقعاتهم ومساهماتهم.
الحيادية: يجب ألا يكون للراعي أو الشريك أو الممول أي انتماء ديني أو سياسي.
استقلالية المحتوى: يجب ألا يفرض الراعي أو الشريك أو الممول أي قيود أو شروط على تطوير المحتوى أو تحريره. يجب أن يبقى التحقق من الحقائق وتحرير المحتوى مستقلاً تمامًا من قبل فتبينوا.
يجب ألا يهدف الراعي أو الشريك أو الممول إلى شراء المحتوى بشكل حصري، حيث نحن ملتزمون بجعل الحقائق متاحة للجمهور.
المعايير الأخلاقية: يجب أن يلتزم الراعي أو الشريك أو الممول بالمعايير الأخلاقية التي تتماشى مع مهمة وقيم فتبينوا.

في 2019/2020: من 1 مارس 2019 حتى 1 مايو 2020:

كانت الفترة بين 1 مارس 2019 و1 مارس 2020 من أصعب الأوقات على فتبينوا منذ إطلاقها. حيث تم التقديم على العديد من المنح وفرص الاستثمار سواء في الأردن أو خارج الأردن دون نجاح.
تم تمويل فتبينوا بشكل رئيسي من قبل مؤسسها ومديرها التنفيذي الدكتور معاذ الظاهر، وفي نفس الفترة ترك الدكتور الظاهر ممارسة الطب للحفاظ على استمرار فتبينوا.
بالإضافة إلى ذلك، تلقت فتبينوا تمويلاً عبر PeaceGeeks ضمن برنامج “الفنان المقيم” الذي ساعد فتبينوا لمدة شهرين، يونيو ويوليو 2020.
في الربع الثالث من عام 2019، قدمت مؤسسة إنجاز الدعم لفتبينوا ضمن مشروع “شركتي الناشئة”. حيث قدمت مساحات عمل مجانية، وغرف اجتماعات، واستشارات قانونية، بالإضافة إلى الدعم اللوجستي والتقني.
في فبراير 2020، قدم الدكتور معاذ تدريبًا مدفوع الأجر لمدة تزيد عن 40 ساعة في التحقق من الحقائق للصحفيين والمدونين والمتخصصين الإعلاميين في أوزبكستان بدعم من مشروع اليونسكو.
في 19 مارس 2020، أعلنت فيسبوك شراكتها مع فتبينوا كمتحقق حقائق طرف ثالث في الشرق الأوسط وشمال إفريقيا. منذ ذلك الحين، تحققت فتبينوا من المقالات والصور والفيديوهات على فيسبوك كجزء من مبادرة التحقق من الحقائق التابعة للشبكة الاجتماعية. هذا العمل تم تمويله من قبل فيسبوك.
في 30 أبريل 2020، أعلنت الشبكة الدولية للتحقق من الحقائق (IFCN) وفيسبوك عن آخر دفعة من منح التحقق من الحقائق حول فيروس كورونا، وتلقت فتبينوا تمويلاً لمشروعها: “F-19 ضد COVID-19”.

في 2020/2021: من 1 مايو 2020 حتى 31 يوليو 2021:

في هذه الفترة، كان المصدر الرئيسي لتمويل فتبينوا هو شراكتها مع فيسبوك كمتحقق حقائق طرف ثالث في الشرق الأوسط وشمال إفريقيا.

في فبراير 2021، وقعت فتبينوا اتفاقية مع الشبكة الدولية للتحقق من الحقائق لتقديم تدريبات في تونس بين 22 فبراير و30 يونيو 2021.
